The Lord Answers Earnest Prayer

Hello!! Here's a quick email update of a couple weeks! I've been working hard in these past weeks to help others come to know our Savior, and in doing so, I've come to know him better too. Many times we have goals and plans that we want to complete in this life. The wonderful thing about that is God wants to help us complete those goals, bring about the fulfilment of those plans. I had the opportunity to put that to test this week! While reading in the Book of Mormon, I felt inspired to follow an invitation from the prophet Mormon when he spoke to his son about faith, hope and charity. What caught my attention was that God calls men of great faith and sound minds to call others unto repentance in order to bring about the work of His covenants unto His chosen vessels. Moroni 7:30-31 "For behold, they are subject unto him, to minister according to the word of his command, showing themselves unto them of strong faith and a firm mind in every form of godliness. And the off

A Little Update From Elder Kyle Jensen...Nov. 10th, 2022

😊 Hola Familia & Amigos!! This is Kyle's Mom giving you a little update from Elder Jensen...  This past Sunday he was told that he was staying put in Rosarito where he had been for only 1 transfer (6 wks), BUT then on Tuesday night (after transfers were all done) Kyle's Mission President still felt like there needed to be some more changes and so Elder Jensen got a call from the Mission President who said he wanted Kyle to go back to Mexicali, but to a different area within that city. He'll cover two different wards as well, Justo Sierra & Robledo wards (or branches?). So within 12hrs of time, Kyle had packed his bags, said good-bye to Rosarito, good-bye to Elder Hernadez & then got on a bus to ride the 120 miles to his new area . A little crazy, uh?! His new companion is Elder Spainhower, who is from Ogden, UT & who only has a few months left of his mission in total. Elder Jensen & Elder Spainhower will be Zone Leaders together in this area, which is a

HAPPY HALLOWEEN  I hope you all have a SPOOKtacular day!!! ;) 😊 Hola mi Hijo y Familia!   This week (or two) for us here in Oregon has been quite crazy. We actually had soccer games in the RAIN, an YW archery activity, watched the Willamette Valley Temple groundbreaking ceremony & Zac & I have had bad colds all week! Rather, I was sick all week (& still yucky) and Zac just got sick Friday night, but it's a doozy of a cold! Ugh! We both didn't go to church yesterday. The kids did go though and Jenelle ended up getting asked to talk for a short bit about her experience of attending the Willamette Valley Temple groundbreaking ceremony in person. (unbeknownst to the both of her parents at home. Lol!) Only 20 tickets were given to our Stake and our Stake Presidency told the Ward Bishops to pick two youth who could drive themselves down to Springfield/Eugene and who would enjoy & benefit from attending in person. Bishop Jensen felt that the two Senior YW in our Ward

Re: Mi semana

Just cleaning & organizing while the kids do homework. (Well…Dad & I might go get me some new shoes to help with my sore feet, but we'll see) 😉 Here's a few notes I took from Pres. Weist's talk yesterday. I thought it was insightful & good things to ponder: The test we're takin

Hola F amilia! This week has been a busy, but fun week too. We got home from Kaitlyn's wedding & Mother's Day on Monday, recovered a little bit with washing several batches of clothes & cleaning up the house, we had YWs on Wednesday, had a wet & rainy fathers & sons outing Friday and then on Saturday a Math competition for Zerrick at OSU & Prom for Jenelle at Reiser Stadium. Now…there was a lot of in between things that happened this week, but I either don't remember them or I choose to forget them. Haha! Jk (well kind of not)😉 As far as I am concerned, I was involved with cleaning up the house & getting Jenelle & her date outfitted for Prom. The rest of the activities will have to be more elaborated by those involved! I didn't need to "fix" a prom dress this time, but I did sew a tie for Andrew Madsen, Jenelle's date. throughout the week, I Hmmm & Haaaah'd about it a lot and then finally on Friday I finished it and got
