Little Jensen Update…May 30, 2022

Hola Hijo & Familia!

Here's just a quick note saying we're alive & well and survived another week of church activities, school activities(band concert), work mtgs, house cleaning & prom dates!! Lol!!

We're still planning to Zoom today at 4pm Oregon time, unless we hear otherwise from Elder mucho macho mango.

Today the kids have No school for Memorial Day, but they both have lots of homework to do, so we're not doing much as a family today in general. Just cleaning & organizing while the kids do homework. (Well…Dad & I might go get me some new shoes to help with my sore feet, but we'll see) 😉

Here's a few notes I took from Pres. Weist's talk yesterday. I thought it was insightful & good things to ponder:

We see, we hear & we feel
Our home…
Can be a sacred place. It can be (& has been) used as a MTC, as a place to serve the ordinance of the sacrament (during Covid) & to do Temple work (family history work)
Our time on earth rt now is a "historic & unprecedented" time in the history of the world! 
We need a firm testimony & foundation of the gospel to get us through these times. 
How firm is your foundation?

(I added the heleman scripture because I had just read it before Sunday & it totally goes with what Pres. Weist said or asked about our foundation.😊)

YouTube link for anything at WAHS. So Zerrick's band concert I think is on there or it might only be the live link which then is converted to a YouTube video after the concert. Anyhow, what I'm saying is that you can still go watch/listen to Zerrick's concert on YouTube or you can watch the WAHS choir concert coming up this Wednesday @ 7pm.  

Zerrick was great on trumpet 🎺 and basically had a solo most of the time.

Maybe closer to 1 or 2pm (Oregon time) I could zoom? Idk about Dad though. He's in a mtg rt now. I'll try to go ask him. And I need to go get chicken in for Jenelle's team dinner for tonight. I was trying to finish an email to Kyle and all of you, but I better run and get this chicken in!! I'm thinking this afternoon I can zoom, but I do need to run to Costco too before the dinner at 4:45pm. Ugh! Weekly Email - 10/18/21

Hola Elder Salsa- Well, it has been a week of wonderment.  We took you to Eugene a week ago today at O Dark Thirty and haven't really heard from you since.  Mom appreciated the quick call Monday evening to let us know you made it safely to Tijuana, but we've been at a loss for where you are, whom you're with, etc.  In a way, your sisters set us up for an unrealistic expectation.  We got a pic of them and their mission president almost as soon as they arrived in their mission and I guess we expected the same from you.  No worries, but we are curious to see, hear from you and understand what is going on.  So, do let us know. Jenelle was sick almost as soon as we dropped you off in Eugene.  I think it is a combination of lack of sleep, too much soccer activity, and being exposed to cousins who have different germs than us.  She missed a few days of school and even went in to take her PSAT not fully healthy, ready or enthused to take it.  They have had lots o...
