Tacos in Tijuana

Hola Hijo & Familia! Here's just a quick note saying we're alive & well and survived another week of church activities, school activities(band concert), work mtgs, house cleaning & prom dates!! Lol!! Hola F amilia! This week has been a busy, but fun week too. We got home from Kaitlyn's wedding & Mother's Day on Monday, recovered a little bit with washing several batches of clothes & cleaning up the house, we had YWs on Wednesday, had a wet & rainy fathers & sons outing Friday and then on Saturday a Math competition for Zerrick at OSU & Prom for Jenelle at Reiser Stadium. Now…there was a lot of in between things that happened this week, but I either don't remember them or I choose to forget them. Haha! Jk (well kind of not)😉 As far as I am concerned, I was involved with cleaning up the house & getting Jenelle & her date outfitted for Prom. The rest of the activities will have to be more elaborated by those involved! I didn't need to "fix" a prom dress this time, but I did sew a tie for Andrew Madsen, Jenelle's date. throughout the week, I Hmmm & Haaaah'd about it a lot and then finally on Friday I finished it and got...

This week we got to go to the wedding of Kaitlyn and Carson! We all had a great time celebrating them and enjoyed seeing them so happy together! We missed you but being in the Temple sealing was a reminder and a testament of how important the work you are doing is! Without the gospel of Jesus Christ, families would not be eternally connected. Thanks to missionaries like yourself, families are one step closer to being together forever! Thank you for your efforts in sharing the gospel Elder! We love and pray for you! Love brej

Hola a todas! Are you ALL ready for the BIGGEST TACO TUESDAY coming up this week?   Or rather the BIGGEST Taco "Twos-Day" 02-22-2022!! We have our shirts bought, washed & ready to go!! We haven't figured out if we are going out to eat somewhere or are we making tacos at home, but we're all wearing our shirts to school & work! Lol! Hmmm...TACOS...YUM!! 😄 Can you tell that ALL I can think about is TACOS 🌮 rt now? This past week was busy and crazy! Dads email eluded to that. Hola Familia!   These past couple weeks have been pretty eventful! Dad & I had Covid, JJ/Z had finals, we went snowmobiling, JJ/Z started a new semester & started play practice too. Those are just to name a few things. We had mutual activities too (before & after we got sick or well). JJ & Z never got Covid (We all tested negative when we got back from Sunriver this past Monday, Jan.31st). I don't really understand how the kids didn't get Covid, but they did keep their distance from us for those couple weeks and wore masks all the time around us. Lol! I guess that worked!   We have an eventful week coming up too…Someone will be turning a BIG, OVER the HILL # that we will not mention, the kids have play practice several days and then on Sat. we'll be going to do Baptisms for the Dead in the Portland Temple. It's taken a long while to get a Saturday appt. at the Temple, so the YW are very excited to fina...

Elder Mango Salsa- Well, you get a double dose from me today.  Maybe it is an attempt to make up for a few missing weeks.  At any rate, I felt prompted to communicate with all of the missionaries serving from our ward and it was important for me to follow that prompting today. Your brother and sister have tryouts for Anastasia tomorrow and despite their fears about not being prepared and having colds that haven't allowed them to practice as much as they'd like, I know they'll do well.  I don't know that they have "stomach problems" prior to a tryout, but keep them in you heart and prayers today.  I know they are excited about this musical especially and want to be in on all the fun. As the semester draws to a close at the end of the month, we are preparing to take advantage of a 4 day weekend and go to the snow.  I am looking into a rental in Sunriver and some possible activities to do.  What I really want to do is spend time in a warm ho...
